 From modernwarfare2.net : This Sunday evening will be a big day for all the gamers. Specially it will be a big day for all the Modern Warfare 2 fans. Yes, make sure to keep your Sunday evening open. Activision will be dropping the first full-lenght Modern Warfare 2 trailer. It will be televised sharp at 5:30 PM Eastern during the NBA Conference Finals on TNT. And yes, this trailer will be an actual trailer of the MW2 and not just another teaser. Do set all your gadgets recording for 5:30 PM EDT. If you miss it, catch it online a minute later on the official site of Modern Warfare 2.
We will also cover up the full story after the release of the trailer. For your viewing pleasure, we will also have the full-length trailer shortly after the premier of the game on TV. Keep an eye on this site for more information Sunday evening. The Modern Warfare 2 is due out on November 10, 2009. |

 Well, the long awaited release of Call of Duty 5 will finally arrive on November 11th. HR1 has opened up a server running the beta version at 69.90.34.24:28960 which has been seeing a whole lot of traffic lately. We have been keeping it a hardcore server and been running primarily headquarters (HQ) and sabotage (SAB) gametypes. Check out your player stats on our server here.
Gameplay is similar to that in Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat with the perks system and weapon attachments. Sometimes it's hard to figure out how to get some of the attachments for some weapons.
Details on the various perks and how to get them are in the forums.
Overall the game seems to be pretty good although we hope for better graphics and sound in the commercial game to be released. The biggest issue with this game is currently the lack of a stable server. The game settings must be pulled back a whole lot to keep the server from crashing. HR1 ctec1 has worked hard to find the cure for our server which, for now, has been running without crash. Thanks!! |

 All Aircraft Arcade has provided a unified mod installer for IL2-1946 fans. The installer adds many new aircraft and other features. Heres a brief description courtesy of AAA:
"Welcome to the first AAA installer. It has always been our intention to provide a simple way of installing the mods found on this site, and we thank you for your patience. The turnout of modders has been overwhelming and their efforts have produced many mods and making installations piecemeal and quite confusing. This installer contains only finished products (no beta's) in a simple point and click installation.
It is our intention that this package and future updates make up a common set of mods that the AAA Community, and others, can use as a standard. The reason is simple, those that want to enforce crt=2 for coops and online wars may do so knowing everyone is using the same set of mods. Therefore, we strongly suggest you do not add new aircraft to this installation.
If you wish to add mods that are betas or have not yet been added through an update, please make a separate copy of the game and add those items to the copied game." |
