FreePayPal IPN Joomla Component

This component is meant to be used in conjunction with the FreePayPal joomla module however the component may be used to track transactions triggered from any PayPal form using PayPal's IPN (Instant Payment Notification) framework documented at the PayPal website (http://www.paypal.com). The component detects and securely verifies IPN transactions made through PayPal. Each transaction is recorded to a joomla database on your website and email notifications are provided to notify you of various transactions that occur such as successful, pending, duplicate, or reversed transactions. A simple view of the PayPal transactions are provided that list donations made to the site. Support for this joomla module is provide at the JoomlaCode freepaypal web site. Component views include a highly configurable thermometer, list  of donors, recent donors, top donors, and a bargraph history of donations is in development. Teamspeak 2 Joomla Module

This module interfaces with a remote online voice-over-ip chat server running teamspeak2 (http://www.goteamspeak.com/) and displays the status of the server, including online/offline status, discussion channels, users in each channel, and provides a link that automatically launches teamspeak and joins the server as an anonymous unauthenticated guest. My teamspeak server is running but is shown as offline. What's wrong?

Answer: 

1. Check to make sure your teamspeak server is running and accessible through the TCP and UDP ports you have specified. The makers of teamspeak have provided a tool to test this accessibility online at the following web address: http://ts2test.planetteamspeak.com/?page=step1
2. Make sure that your webserver has the configured TCP and UDP ports open and that no firewall is blocking these ports. There are sites such as http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ which will check these ports for you.You will need to test 4 ports: the TCP and UDP port on BOTH your teamspeak server AND your webserver.

Configuration Details

1. Install the module using the administration backend. For Joomla 1.5, this means you must log into the administration panel and then go to Extensions --> Install. Then click on the "Browse" button, select your mod_teamspeak.zip file, and then click on the "Upload File & Install" button. You now have the module installed into your joomla site. However, it needs to be enabled and configured to appear on your site pages.
2. Enable the module using the administration backend. For Joomla 1.5, this means you must log into the administration panel and then go to Extensions --->Module Manager. Find the module listed as "TeamSpeak 2 Server Status" and click on the this text which is a link to its configuration properties.
3. In the resulting "Module: Edit" window you will need to make the following selections to see the module on your site:

Enabled = Yes

Position = Typically you can select either "left" or "user1"

This value determines where in the Joomla template the module will appear. To see the module names and their locations go to "Extensions-->Template Manager-->-->Preview" and take note of the template position where you would like the module to appear. You must select this name from this Positions drop down menu.

Menus = Typically this is "All" or "Select Menu Items" to only show the module when specific links have been selected.

Module Parameters

Enable Cache = Yes or No ... if enabled the module may load faster for clients.

Server Address = The IP address of the teamspeak 2 server.

TCP Query Port = The TCP query port configured for the teamspeak 2 server.

UDP Port = The UDP port configured for the teamspeak 2 server.

Server password = The global teamspeak 2 server password.

Location = The location (geographic) of the server, this is an optional parameter.

Guest Nickname = The default nickname assigned to users which login to the server without specifying a name.

Once you have specified the values of all these fields, select the "Save" button. If the values of the module parameters are correct and the module is enabled you should see the server status, including channels and people that are in the various channels.
